COMMUNITY & CAUSESThe San Francisco Glens Evolution have a long-standing association with community and supporting causes that are critical to the places where we live and play. Our club believes in developing young soccer players who recognize how leadership, engagement, and service contribute to a foundation of success both on the field and in life.
Fall Shoe DriveEXTENDED TILL DECEMBER 15TH
SFGE are having a Fall Shoe Drive! If you have a pair of old, unwanted soccer cleats that are no longer needed or you have just outgrown last seasons pair - now is the time to donate! SFGE will be having a shoe drive beginning now through Mid November, ending Friday November 11th, giving you the opportunity to get rid of those cleats that have been laying around. We will be donating all, unwanted cleats to people in the San Francisco Community that do not have the ability to purchase soccer cleats. The collection point for the SFGE Fall Shoe Drive will be located at our club office at 2521 Judah Street (between 30th & 31st Ave). If you have any pairs you would like to donate to the cause, feel free to swing by any time between 10 am - 4 pm or please call our office to arrange a separate time at (415) 349-8333. BREAST CANCER WALKSF Glens Evolution will have a team in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer by the American Cancer Society in the 3.1 mile walk on October 22! This will be a huge event beginning in Hellman Hollow (in Golden Gate Park) complete with an opening ceremony, entertainment, beverages and much much more.
Every ticket purchase will include a team shirt of choice ( 2 options). All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. The more the merrier for our team, feel free to bring friends, neighbors, families, pets and whoever else would like to join and raise awareness!
